Taiko no Tatsujin – Rhythm Festival

Taiko no Tatsujin: Rhythm Festival is an entry for the Nintendo Switch that was released on September 22, 2022, in Japan, September 23 in North America, and October 14 in Europe. The base game includes 76 songs. Originally, more than 500 additional songs were accessible through the “Taiko Music Pass” subscription service. With new songs added each month, alongside DLC packs, the overall total has now expanded to over 700.

New modes include “DON-chan Band”, where players cooperate to perform a song together, “Great Drum Toy War”, where players compete in playing a song while activating hazards against each other. Post launch, extra modes are added such as “Run! Ninja Dojo”, where players compete to beat the song with the most points while having to deal with a variety of hazards, and “Dondoko Fit”, a fitness-focused gamemode where players use their arms and pretend to hit a giant taiko drum. Welcome to Omiko City, the stage for Taiko no Tatsujin: Rhythm Festival! A city full of everyone’s favorite Taiko elements is gathered into one town!

Together with DON-Chan, meet your new friend, Kumo-kyun and aim to become a Taiko Master! 76 songs including Gurenge, Feel Special, and Into the Night are available in the game! As well as Improvement Support that helps you with upping your drumming skills! Participate in Online Ranked Matches and battle against with players from around the world! There are other modes to enjoy with everyone, like DON-chan Band, where Players work as a group of 4 to perform successful concerts! Also Great Drum Toy War, where Players make a deck of toys for Taiko battles!
