Adding games, managing DLCs, and installing updates on Ryujinx is straightforward.

Adding Games to Ryujinx

1. Obtain Game Files:

- Ensure you have the game files in .XCI, .NSP, or .NRO format. These files are dumped from a Nintendo Switch console you own by utilizing the NXDumpTool.

2. Add Games to Ryujinx:

- Open Ryujinx and go to Options > Settings > Game Directories.
- Click Add and select the folder containing your game files. Ryujinx will scan this directory and add the games to your library.
- You should now see the games listed in the Ryujinx Games List.

Managing Game Updates

Manage game update versions from within Ryujinx.

Now that your games are added, you may wish to update your game for various reasons e.g. bugfixes, new content, etc. Ryujinx has built-in functionality to manage which version of the game you want to play.

In the main Ryujinx game list right-click the game you want to apply an update to. Then click Manage Title Updates.

Now add your update file, also a .nsp or .xci file. and hit save.

Locate your game in the list and you will see it’s now updated. To remove, follow the same steps and click on remove all to revert back to version 1.0

Managing DLC

Some games have downloadable content available that you may wish to add to your game. Ryujinx has built-in functionality to add & manage your DLC.

With Ryujinx open, right-click on the game you want to add or manage DLC for and click Manage DLC to bring up the Ryujinx – DLC Manager window.
