Story of Seasons – Friends of Mineral Town

Story of Seasons: Friends of Mineral Town is a complete 3D remake of Harvest Moon: Friends of Mineral Town for the Game Boy Advance that will let series fans revisit the charming world of Mineral Town, while also introducing it to a new generation of farmers. In this peaceful setting, players will grow crops, take care of animals, and build relationships with villagers. It was released for the Nintendo Switch in Japan and Taiwan on October 17, 2019, in Europe on July 10, 2020, and in North America on July 14, 2020. A Microsoft Windows version was also released on July 14. The remake was later ported to Xbox One and PlayStation 4.

Both versions were released on October 15 in Europe, and October 26, 2021, in North America. In Japan, the game was first released for Xbox One on October 27, 2021, followed by PlayStation 4 on November 25, 2021. As a remake of Harvest Moon: Friends of Mineral Town and Harvest Moon: More Friends of Mineral Town, it follows the same plot of both games. The game starts with a cutscene showing the protagonist visiting their grandfather’s farm for the Summer. They play alone until meeting another young child in the forest who the protagonist befriends and promises to come back one day.

Many years later, the protagonist is now an adult and gets a letter from Thomas, inviting them to go to Mineral Town to see their Grandpa’s farm as their grandfather has since passed and the farm was left to them in their will. Arriving, the farm is run down. You then make it your mission to restore the farm to its former glory. Your farming life begins in Mineral Town, a charming village surrounded by nature. You’ve returned after many years to restore your late grandfather’s farm to its former glory. Care for crops, livestock, and more as your very own story of seasons unfolds. A rich variety of fruits, veggies, and livestock are waiting for you.

Raise them all with love and care, and you’ll have plenty of products to harvest, sell, or cook with! Mineral Town is full of friendly faces, both old and new! Head into town, give gifts, and learn all about your neighbors as you befriend them. Mineral Town is home to several eligible bachelors and bachelorettes. Get to know the boy or girl of your dreams, and you might be able to date them, get married, and even start a family! Go fishing, cook fresh meals, and when your work’s all said and done, take a dip in the local hot spring. Experience the farmer’s life like never before!
